Videos of the Wake boarding WC

Wakeboarding World Cup@ bedok reservoir

Went to see the Wake boarding world cup competition last Sunday with noel and Chris at bedok reservoir. I've just started trying this sport, at east coast cable park. Its a nice but expensive sport, about $40 for 2 hours for students and $60 for adults for the same time. Anyway back to the world cup, it was an exciting seeing the competitors doing high flyer stuns. Like double 360 turns in mid air and just jumping to a certain hight with their boards flying. I envy the European crowd there, they were making alot of noise and knew how to cheer, sadly most of the locals just looked and stared at the contestants.

Pinoy however, was paying more attention to the girls in the surroundings than to the contestants. Overall i enjoyed the world cup, the wake boarders were the best, the commentator was exciting,(he didnt stop talking)and the weather was hot.

Purple lights (Pulau Ubin)

It was my first camping trip in ubin. Stayed over for the weekend with the guys on the beach. For me, ubin is like old school Singapore.. It was an exciting camping trip in the outdoors. Now theres a fence around 20meters from the beach, it is to prevent immigrants to came in spore but it gave a terrible look on the shoreline. I didnt sleep much there though, was uncomfortable with the itches of fly bites around my foot and hands. But late into the night we spotted a firefly. normally i aspect them in a group but this time there was just one. The tiny red dot came as close to the shelter, thats my first time seeing a firefly and it sparkled the the darkness of the night.

This last two pics are of an Eagle and a kingfisher taken with my full 12x optical zoom.

Early in the morning, shorty after taking the eagles, we came across boar's tracks. Tracking the boar was exciting though we never got to see a glimpse of it, however, fresh tracks shows proof that it was there and a big one too. We tracked it from the corner of the beach to half way from our camp site. Hearing its grunt excited me, hopping to catch a glimpse of its movement, but it was just fast.

But the conversations late at night was memorable and really funny when mark came up with his purple light song he sings in the army just before breakfast. We had a ball of a laugh on this.
... see my girlfriend,
saw her with, another girl.
tied them up , to a tree.
RAPED THEM
with my buddy and my rifle and me..

Servers Night with Jesus

Supper

This is how you make a rosary. Tieing knots.

An Old Friends, he sends his regards to mark and aaron.

After an entire morning, Macdonald's for breakfast

Last Friday 13 servers including me went for a retreat, night with Jesus. It was organized for the east district parish mainly to call for vocations. We had games and supper, rosary making. The boys struggled to keep awake when it came to the whee hours of the morning, especially throughout the stations, rosary and mass. However it went well and ended with mass at 6am.

Fire by the Bay

Its a little late for these fireworks to be updated but was really busy studing. Anyway, last weekend was the fireworks festival at marina bay. on friday was the spanish, and saturday, the chinese. The crowd was overwhelming and that was hardly any space to walk or sit from the merlion to the esplanade, and to the floating platform where NDP was held this year. The Shears bridge was close this year too.

The fireworks where delayed by 20mins from 9pm. But by 9.10, toy planes where flying around the floating stadium keeping some 27,000 spectators entertained just before shooting the firework. Had not any good pictures this year as i didnt use a tripod and there where trees and hands of cameras block my view.In fact i took less than 40 pics.

But overall the fireworks were fantasic. My personal favourite is when the let go a really loud one and the explosions just lights up the night sky. They where fired from buges from the bay's waters, and the shears brigde. Lights of red and yellow where the most common, i guess its because of china's national colour.

Oh Brother

So lets begin with yourself Oh Brother!
Recognize your own faults but don't accuse another.
A happier and better place this world would be,
If we'd begin at home correcting you and me.

If we see a speck in our brothers' eye,
You want to get it out you are determined to try.
But listen Oh Brother to what jesus said,
Get the beam out of the eye,O Hypocrite instead.

It is easy to make a fine speech,
But what you have to do is practise what you preach.
Its useless telling others what to do,
Give good example, now its up to YOU!.

Correcting you and me, So lets begin with ourselves
Oh brother and we'll try make this world a better place for others.
And if we see a snowball rolling along,we will gather others to our throng
And the world will be a better place,
And the world will be a better place.

School

Hey ya'll.. sorry i didnt blog a long time..

School has caught up with me.. Just in case you dont know, im in temasek poly,
doing mechatronics(mechanical&eletronics). With an aerospace option in it.
Well its been 3months since school started. My class is quite lucky for its
relax timetable slot. The only killer subject is math.

There are 22 students in my class, 21 boys 1 girl.
The girl is a chinese national, always being disturbed by us,boys, in class.
Any way, the class has got 3 groups in it, the chinese, indians and malays.. Im not being racist here but its a nice mixture of classmates i have.
All are funny with boys being boys, and for 3months now most of them are getting comfortable with each other.

Just last week, i went for a drinking party with half my class, mostly the indians.
Got a king robert scotch with coke and they started drinking under a void deck celebrating my classmates birthday. I didnt drink though. Haha but it was a comecial event, they where shouting after 2 shots of the scotch with their powerful indian accent.

I tagged along with the malay group for a couple of times. They are just as hilarious. Cracking jokes in lesson and in the canteen while having lunch with them.
As for the chinese, they are really very helpful when it comes to studies. They are very approachble in class and really tought me the right stuff.

Well thats for my school and class,im quite lucky to get this kind of an enviroment to study in, and i thank God for helping me through my o'lvls till now.

Series of Unfortunate Events

Such is life now..

Its rocky like never before,Part of my life is affected. The church has the greatest impact ironically. The servers, Knights of the Holy Eucharist, was its name. Now just Altar boys..Our president stepped down,so did his vice. Now others in the society has lost their moral, especially the old ones like jj,destin, noel even mark kr and many more others.Fr johnson and the parents took over, thus we are not having anything for trinity feast day and corpus christi..The boys dont get the feeling of the reason why they are serving. Its like they lost their torch in the darkness.

It was not like before, where everyone is in harmony, during fr tay's time..
We mixed well with other societies and were all smiling. Its not like that, now many wants to have things their way in the church.
To serve and not to be serve, its almost lost.
love one another as i have loved you, covered right in the front of the altar table.
Our parishiners,not as lively.

Besides this, there are other things bothering me,which i wont mention here.
Such is life now..
