Blow Holes

Well i took these shots at the 12 apostlesin australia, really i was astonished to see blow holes of this size. My first time out in one of nature's magnificent coast.
So far the nature shots i took here are my favourites.

the 2 pics inbetween is actually a huge blowhole,the top picture is the front of it, and the botton is the back. Its amazing how nature,the water and wind, could do so much damage to the land,yet making it beautiful.from where i was on the top, there was a stairs leading down to walk into the blowhole.However the current was extremly rough.





This shot above really caught me. Again i was taken by nature. of the constant erosion over the years since this earth was created. a piece of land still stands on its own, and a hole was formed in the middle of this land. Amazing..

The Southern Coast of the Earth

These are some shots i took in Philip island in australia. On the coast Blows are very chilling wind from the south pole. My uncle got wind burn because of that. Anyway here here are the pics.




This particular rock is called pyramids rock. By looking at it thus its' name.

More australian animals

There are more seagulls than anything on this post, but i felt that the shots taken were nice,all the shots were taken at philip island in Australia. Its a beautiful place with much seafood around and they are good.

This very first pic is actually Full of seals. on the shore of this small island,rarly seen as they harldy come to the human beaches. its not a claer pic as these was abt one and a half football fields from where i was, on a rock.Cant see them clearly but you can make out the shape of the seals.. its very tiny on this pic


Ar this shot was taken by my uncle using my camera. Found them making a whole lot of noise under the broadwalk. Had difficulties taking a gd pic as the where under the broadwalk, so my cam was suspended under and using timer mode took this lovely shot. my uncle was lucky.

This pic is blur because of the lighting. sun in the wrong postion, but its of 2 macow, parrots.. commonly seen as a pest in australia and are hunted by farmers, however they are beautiful birds.

Lavender

Was out again doing some photography, this time at lavender. Did this photography in the morning this time..This time i tried usong the black and white settings.
Some came out okay.





These two last pics are on a apider the size of my paalm. took it on my way home on an overhead bridge. no idea what species it is.

St George's church

Went to do some Photography yesterday, Raju brought us to a place where i never knew exisited. went to St george's church located just opposite the botanical Gardens.
The church looks quite old. a christian one perhaps.



If you look at this stain glass carefully, you'd see the 4 Beast from the book of revalations at the four corners of the glass.. One an angel,an Eagle,a bull ad a lion. Most christian churches carry this kind of stain glass.I guess it kinds of potray an image from the bible.

The Youth passion play on the stations of the cross done in the church compound.
that boy or jesus died on the cross.
Palm(passion) Sunday marks the start of Holy week, symbolizing the entry of jesus into the holy city.During the week, all the days are considered Holy.Then there was Holy Thursday, or maundy thursday. the servers where in church from 3pm till midnight. helping in the masses and the Adoration.Came back again on good friday the whole day again.Well we where in church praticaly the whole weekend. But what made us going was not because of this happens once a year, but our fellowship was there and all of us were there to serve and honor our lord who came to save us.
